1. Import Type

• Select Import Type - Addresses
• Overwrite Record with matching Address ID or Product Code: Check this box if you would like to overwrite Address or Product Records

 

2. Record Source

Please select one of the following option 

• CSV
• QuickBooks (Run QuickBooks in the background or enter company path): Entire Address List will be imported in to SmartBOL. ( Master | Addresses)
• Peachtree ( Enter Company File Path such as C:\Program Files\Peachtree\Company\BCS. While Peachtree is running go to Help à Customer Support and Service à File Statistics. Company file path is located at the bottom of this screen): Entire Address List will be imported in to SmartBOL. ( Master | Addresses)

Mark addresses as Consignee or Bill To or Forwading Agent or Notify Party

3. CSV File Location.

 

• Click Create Empty Template File button to create an empty CSV Template
• Add records to the template file using Excel or Notepad. Make sure all required fields have data.
• Now Click the Browse Button & select the CSV/ data file. Click Load Data button to Import records.
• If import skipped any records, check import log for errors which is created in the same folder as the csv file
